On Saturday evening, December 18, a new lockdown was announced in the Netherlands. The coronavirus is spreading too quickly, partly due to the new omnicron variant. The strict lockdown will come into effect on December 19 at 5 a.m. and will remain in place until at least January 14, 2022.
During the lockdown, our Spoedteststraat locations in Bunnik and Schiphol will both remain open as normal. Appointments that have already been scheduled are also unchanged. Do you want to schedule a corona test? Then you can book an appointment online and come and test with us at the reserved time.
The lockdown has no consequences for both current bookings and new bookings.
At the scheduled time you will drive by in the car at one of our locations. You can stay in the car during the test. This prevents unnecessary risks and long lines.
When it is your turn, one of our employees will come to you to take the test. Both the Antigen Rapid Test and the PCR test are performed using a nasal swab. You can drive away immediately after testing. You will receive the test result by email at the specified time.
Starting tomorrow morning, December 19, only essential shops such as supermarkets and drugstores will remain open. There is no curfew, but what you can do is very limited. The cabinet will also advise receiving a maximum of 4 people at home during the holidays.
